All I want for Christmas...

Dear Santa,

I want a big bike with no training wheels and Batman handles. I want a DS, a Batman and Golden PowerRanger movie, Spiderman toy car, legos, a transformer, fast new shoes, 4 wheeler, art stuff, a Chia Pet and a Spiderman cell phone. I will try to be good and listen to my parents.

Thanks,
Kaden

Dear Santa,

I want pixos, art stuff, legos, a little puppy and a big puppy, a big shark 4 wheeler to ride, a Spideman wallet, Golden PoweRanger movie, and a bike with training wheels. I will try to be good and listen to my parents.

Thanks,
Kyle

Dear Santa,

I want lots of hugs and kisses. I want a clean diaper, a full tummy, and less attention from my brothers and more from mommy. I want to keep my nice cozy spot next to mom in her bed and lots of cute clothes and bows. I will keep crying to a minimum and smile and giggle all the time.

Love,
Kloe

Kloe's Little Friend

My friend Jessica came over yesterday with her new little girl. She was born only four hours after Kloe weighing 7 lbs 9 0z. a very normal size but look at how much smaller she is than Kloe. She has such a cute little head. I hope Kloe slows down soon, I want her to stay little for as long as possible.

Aren't they sweet!

Kloe's new trick

I decided to try out our Bumbo chair that Aunt Lisa gave us. It was so funny to see Kloe sit in it. She didn't like it too much, hopefully soon she will. Also, take a look at that hat that Adam made her (I had to finish). It's a little small so I'm working on another one. Got to love the big head.

I had to throw this one in for Adam. We love you daddy!

Some Pics From Kloe's Photo Shoot

Here are some pictures of Kloe at one week. My cousin Cassey took them. Thanks again for doing that for us. It's crazy how much they change in just a few weeks. We are planning on taking some more this weekend, hopefully she will cooperate more this time.

A Thanksgiving to Remember

I hate having to have you child hooked up to all kinds of monitors. It's sad.
Kloe had her own little crib but liked being in the other bed. Imagine that!
All the little helpers concerned for their little sister.
She still looks cute even in a hospital gown.

Many of you know that we got to spend thanksgiving at the hospital this year. On Tuesday we took Kloe into the doctor because she had a fever and wouldn't eat anything for 24 hours. I was expecting them to tell me it was a virus or something and be on my way. No instead they ran a bunch of test, including a spinal tap, and admitted us to the hospital. Luckly all the tests came back normal and we were able to come home on thanksgiving. It was not the way we planned to spend our thanksgiving, but I'm grateful that we are all healthy. Thanks for all your help, prayers, and love for our family during this time. We know we can always count on family. Also, when we weighed her on Friday (just 3 weeks old) she weighed 11 lbs 3 oz. She has moved into 3-6 month clothing. Only Kloe would gain a pound in a few days even being sick.

Kloe's two weeks

I took Kloe to her two week check up and she is now a big 10 lbs 2 oz and almost 23 inches long. That puts her at 90% for her weight and 97% for height. I hope she slows down. She doesn't seem like a newborn at all. I don't want a toddler before I have to.
Kloe's first Sunday at church. We just went to sacrament.

Here are some pictures of our life in the last week. It has been fun having kloe a part of our family.

Happy 5th Birthday Kaden!

Look at that handsome five year old. He is so big now.
We just had a family party. We went to Chuck E Cheese and out to dinner. We also went to the store to let him pick out his birthday present. It was simple but he loved it.
Kaden wanted a Batman cake so this is as good as it was going to get.
This was the toy he picked out. It's a play dough ice cream shop. I remember playing with this when I was little. The boys think it's the coolest, just as I did years ago.

I can't believe my little boy is five already. He has grown up so fast. Before I know it he will be in kindergarten. I'm so proud of the child he has become. He is sweet(most of the time) and kind to those around him. He always is willing to share and help others. He is obedient and tries to do what is right. He is a great big brother to Kyle and Kloe. We love him and are thankful that he is a part of our family.

Kaden's birthday chaos

Kaden was jumping on the couch with a friend and this was the result. Of course the day before pictures. What can I say he is a typical five year old.

kloe is one week old

Kaden just can't get enough of his little sister. we all eat sleep and drink Kloe. She is definently the little princess.

We have been having so much fun with a little girl.

More Pictures of Kloe

Here are some pictures of the first week of Kloe's little life. It has been a good week. I love having her be a part of our family. It feels like she has been a part of our family forever. Thank you to everyone who helped this last week. Thank you mom and Diane for coming from California to help for the week. I know I would have lost it by now without your help. Also thanks to Uncle Jim and Aunt Caryl for watching the boys while I was in labor. The boys still talk about going to the Dinosaur Museum.

She Is Finally Here!!!

Kloe finally made her appearance in this world, after a long hard process. She was NINE POUNDS NINE OUNCES and TWENTY INCHES LONG, and was born at 7:54 pm!! She was a very big baby, and I will let Laurie blog about what she wants to. Laurie and Kloe are doing good, and we came home tonight at around 7:30. She is perfect and beautiful!! I am a very proud dad and happy to finally have my little girl here! :) The boys love there little sister. Kyle wont let anyone hold her when he is holding her. He just sits there and pats her head and her back, it is really cute.

Here she is on the weighing table. Notice the weight!
Kaden holding his sister.
And Kyle.
The proud brothers.
Laurie is going to kill me!
The boys and dad watching over the little girl.
Here she is ready to go home!

There will me plenty of pictures coming in the future so stay tuned!

Another One.

She just got checked and she is a 9+. Almost time.

Still Here

She is a seven + now. She is still hanging on.

Another Update.

She is now a six. This is going way better than expected. Kloe will be here soon enough!

Update

She just got checked and she is a 4 - 4.5. So hopefully it wont be as long as expected.

We are in the hospital!

We got here at 10:00 and Laurie got checked in and got in her room. They started the pitocin at 11:00. The nurse is bound and determined that the baby will be here before she is off at 6:00, but we warn her that it probably wont happen, but we can hope. We will keep you updated. Oh and she was a 2.5 - 3. It could be a long day!

Halloween Fun!

Here are some pictures of the boys. Kaden as you can tell was Batman and Kyle was Spiderman. I thought it would be fun to dress up being as pregnant as I am and Brittney's fairy costume actually fit. (I was hoping that it would make a cool story if my water broke while trick or treating and I would have to go to the hospital in my costume. I guess that didn't happpened) We had a fun night of trunk or treating followed by some good old fashion door to door trick or treating. The boys got hooked up with candy. Too bad Aunt Lindsey isn't here to share with.

Pregnancy update

(Kaden took this picture today)
So with the due date passing in a few hours, my hope of Kloe coming on time is lost. At least it's safe to say that she won't be born on Halloween. Here is the latest on my progress. I had a doctors appointment last Wednesday and finally I'm dilated to a 2 and 70% effaced. I know not much for most people, but for me that is an accomplishment. (I just didn't want them to tell me that I went backwards again) So with this new hope, they decided to strip my membranes. Like usual it didn't put me in labor but caused me a lot of discomfort. On the up side I feel like it got something going and now her head is down and engaged. I don't know about this girl. She seems stubburn so hopefully once SHE decides to come it will be fast. My next appointment is on Monday if I don't have her by then. At that time I will set up an induction date if needed.

HeeHaws

Halloween isn't complete until we visit HeeHaws pumpkin patch. It's nice that its right next to our house so all we have to do is walk over there. The boys had a blast with all their friends playing on the big slide, the hayride, and the train ride.

Adam and Kyle on the hayride. I have to say that heyrides and being nine months pregnant don't go well together.

Have to get the traditional HeeHaw picture.

The three musketeers enjoying the hayride.

Animal train ride. I'm just glad the kids are old enough to go on without an adult.

This was a big hit. The boys could have stayed here all day.
