Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum

The two dollar Tuesdays that Thanksgiving Point has had this month have been a blast. Last week we took advantage of the Dinosaur Museum. The boys, and Adam love this place. They like to see all the displays and fossils that they have there.

Kyle

This kid always cracks us up. When he decides to get himself ready for bed or the day it is interesting some of the outfits that he comes up with. This is his bedtime concoction.

Flying Boys

One Sunday after Church the boys wanted to play games, so I (Adam) decided to turn our coffee table longways and put one of the ends close to the wall by our front door and see if the boys could clear the length between the table and the couch, it was a good three feet, and they did without a problem. These pictures are them coming at us from the couch. I love these two boys. They are always up for whatever their dad wants them to do, without any questions asked they just step up and do it.

Pretty and Pink!

Here is the long awaited little girls room. It is so girly, I love it. There are few little things we want to add, and then it will be ready for little Kloe. She's already so spoiled and has her dad wrapped around her finger. Adam has spent hours and hours on her room and she isn't even here yet; what a dedicated dad.

After Fishing

After we went fishing Adam and the boys decided to go for a little dip in the Provo River with their clothes on. The sun was setting and the water is freezing, but they all went in anyway. Too bad I had to stay out to take the pictures.
Kaden and Dad took the first dip.
It was COLD!
Kyle wasn't too far behind them.
Kyle our little monkey. Notice Kaden in the back wrapped up in Adam's shirt.
Me and my boys!

Family night fishing

Tonight for family night we went up Provo Canyon for a little fishing at Vivian Park. The boys love to fish just like their dad. You would never guess what we used for bait. Believe it or not but Velveeta Cheese was a hit. Every cast the cheese was eaten, but the fish got smart and figured out how to eat the cheese without being hooked.
The boys have no problem reaching in and grabbing the fish . Sometimes they can't keep a good grip on them though.
Kyle was proud of this one. He caught the biggest fish of the day. You should have seen him reel it in all by himself.
We only kept four fish, but we caught about 10 or 12 in a couple of hours.

Chickens, Chickens, Chickens!

For those of you who didn't know, or didn't believe, yes we do have chickens. 27 to be exact! Half are egg laying chicks and half are meat eating chickens. In about a month the meat ones will be ready to eat and in the December we should start getting eggs. Only my husband would figure out a way to have chickens while living in a condo.

Boys will be boys!

This is what happens when the sprinklers are on too long. Mud, water, and a bike, in little boy minds, equals this...

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

3 more months to go!

For those of you who have been asking for pregnancy pictures here they are. This little girl seems to be growing nicely.

4 months
6 months
Only 3 more months to go. We are excited for our little girl to join our family. In the next couple of months I plan on decorating the nursery, so I'll update you with pictures then.

Four Year Old Boys!

Last Saturday Kaden got the official first bee sting of the summer. After the hour of crying and cleaning the sting everything went back to normal. However, Sunday morning we woke up to his finger looking like this. It was so swollen I don't think it could stretch anymore. After a few days and lots of Benadryl, the swelling went down leaving only stretch marks on his finger.

The next injury of the week was on Friday when Kaden was playing with an arrow stick( the arrowhead was taken off thank heavens) and jabbed himself in the eye. Looks like he popped a blood vessel but no permanent damage. I'm glad we are having a girl next. I don't know if I could survive two more four year old boys.

First Article of Faith

Kaden's Primary leaders have asked the children to learn all the articles of faith. Last week Kaden memorized the first article of faith. We are proud of how fast he could memorize it, even though in the video he got a little help from Kyle. By the way, Kyle memorized it also. We will have to get video of Kyle next time. This week we are working on the second article of faith.

What Studs

Kaden and Kyle were looking handsome for church we had to take some pictures. They grow up so fast. I can't believe we will being adding a girl to the mix soon.

Fun with Cousins

After we got back from California we had a little girl only family reunion. Lisa came down from Boise, and Lindsey and my mom came from California. We spent time at my Great Grandpa's house and then went to Cherry Hill campgrounds.

Here we are swimming at Great Grandma's pool in Saratoga Springs.

Everyone loves a sleepover! Especially Ashley!

Our First Cruise!

The last four days of our trip to California, Adam joined us and we went on the Ensenada, Mexico cruise. Thanks to all those who made it possible for us to go on our first cruise. Lindsey and Jordan thanks for being so wonderful and babysitting the boys for us. Thanks to Brittney for living with us so my parents could reward us with the cruise. Also, thanks to mom and dad for taking us on the cruise, we loved every minute of it. Here are some pictures of the ship.

Formal dinner night.
The food was amazing. Adam really ordered up.
The guy who took care of our room would leave us with towel designs each day. Here is a monkey and a bat

I couldn't resist!
My mom and dad on formal night

Adam and me in Mexico, the pool on the ship (it was too cold to swim though), and me when we first boarded the ship. I highly recommend going on a cruise to anyone who hasn't gone before. We had a blast eating whenever we wanted, not having to clean, and especially no kids. I can't wait for our next one. Anyone want to go on a cruise?
