Happy 4th Birthday Kyle!

Another year has gone by and our little boys is now 4. We have loved the last 4 years that he has been a part of our family. Sometimes I wish I could freeze time before they are off on their missions and getting married (I know I'm getting ahead of myself). The day started off with the birthday fairy decorating the house. Then Aunt Brittney took Kyle to the store to pick out his present. Guess what he picked...MOON SAND! Lucky mom! When dad got home we headed to the boys T-Ball game and then Carl's Jr. for a little party. After that we were off to the Owlz game (it was opening night) for some more baseball fun and the night ended with a firework show just for Kyle!

Strawberry Days

Every year in June Pleasant Grove has their annual Strawberry Days celebration. We look forward to a week full of fun activities. Here are a few that we went to. On Wednesday they have a children's parade where you can dress up your kids according to the theme. This years theme was A Bridge to the Past so we dressed the kids up as 50's people. It was last minute so this is the best we could come up with from what we had in our closets.

Friday was Huck Finn day at the park were we enjoyed face painting, donut walks, bounce houses, pony rides and some other little fun games. This is my favorite part of Strawberry days. They also flood a pond and stock it with fish for the kids to fish but we avoided the area this year since it was just mom with three kids.
Part of the Belle Monet boy gang!
That night we headed to the carnival with some friends. It was fun riding the big rides with the boys this year. Kyle is intense. He wanted to go on everything but he wasn't tall enough for a lot of them. The last ride of the night was the scrambler. Which Kyle and Kaden were going to ride together on but once again Kyle wasn't tall enough so I had to ride it with Kaden. Not the best thing to do after eating homemade chips(to die for) and a funnel cake.

Cedar City Trip

We headed down to Cedar about a month ago to visit Adam's parents. We had a fun time playing in the yard with cousins, kittens and Rocky the dog.
I took this picture from the deck. They have 20 acres of land for the boys to run free on. You can only image all the exploring and discovering done while we are there.

This picture makes me laugh. Doesn't he look like a model with the high cheek bones.

On the way down we had quite an adventure. Adam needed to bring down 13 chickens to his parents so he put them in a box and had the lid partly on so the chickens could get air. About an hour away from Cedar Adam looked back at the boys to find a chicken on top of Kaden's head. Kaden had to jump up and catch the chicken and put him back in the box with the others. Needless to say, we all kept looking over our shoulders to make sure we didn't have another escapee. On top of all that, Kyle wet his pants and had to ride down naked. I'm sure we were a sight to be seen.

Kloe update!

It has been a while since I blogged but here is our little girl now. She is 7 months and growing bigger everyday. At her 6 month doctor appointment she weighed 18 lbs 3 oz but since then she has started slimming down. She is sitting up and pulling herself up on things but not crawling yet. Maybe she will be like her big brother and skip crawling and go straight to walking. She also can say mama or mom when she is mad. We love having her in our family. Her smile brightens our day and her laugh is even greater.
