Fun with Cousins

After we got back from California we had a little girl only family reunion. Lisa came down from Boise, and Lindsey and my mom came from California. We spent time at my Great Grandpa's house and then went to Cherry Hill campgrounds.

Here we are swimming at Great Grandma's pool in Saratoga Springs.

Everyone loves a sleepover! Especially Ashley!

Our First Cruise!

The last four days of our trip to California, Adam joined us and we went on the Ensenada, Mexico cruise. Thanks to all those who made it possible for us to go on our first cruise. Lindsey and Jordan thanks for being so wonderful and babysitting the boys for us. Thanks to Brittney for living with us so my parents could reward us with the cruise. Also, thanks to mom and dad for taking us on the cruise, we loved every minute of it. Here are some pictures of the ship.

Formal dinner night.
The food was amazing. Adam really ordered up.
The guy who took care of our room would leave us with towel designs each day. Here is a monkey and a bat

I couldn't resist!
My mom and dad on formal night

Adam and me in Mexico, the pool on the ship (it was too cold to swim though), and me when we first boarded the ship. I highly recommend going on a cruise to anyone who hasn't gone before. We had a blast eating whenever we wanted, not having to clean, and especially no kids. I can't wait for our next one. Anyone want to go on a cruise?

California Dreaming

On June 22 the boys and I left for California for two weeks while Adam stayed to get school finished up. I don't have pictures of this but you can look on Lindsey and Jordan's blog to see some. We had fun with family and celebrated Kyle's 3rd birthday there. We spent one night on my Dad's sailboat and pretended to be pirates, we even had a big pirate flag on the sail. The two weeks consisted of shopping, eating, and swimming (beaches, pools, and parks). Gotta love Grandma's. We would have done more, but the boys were sick pretty much the whole time we were there with a horrible flu. Thanks Aunt Diane for being the throw up bowl holder.

New Bunk Beds!

I know it's been a while since I last blogged, so I will start way back in June. The boys got bunk beds. They love them and think they are big kids now. Rob and Raelene gave us Weston and Zack's old beds (thanks again) so we gave them a fresh coat of red painted and they look new. The boys favorite thing to do is climb on the top bunk and watch movies on our laptop. We now have a mattress for the bottom bunk, but you get the idea.

Strawberry Days

Last week was Strawberry Days here in Pleasant Grove. As part of the festivities they have an activity called Huck Finn days and while there you can fish, in a field that they flood and put fish in, and they had pony rides and other activities. Kaden caught the first fish, about 6 inches, and had fun reeling it in and playing with it after he got it in. Kyle caught one also, it went about 16, it was probably the biggest one in the pond, but it broke the hook off and swam away. It was a fun time and fun to see Kaden and Kyle reel these two fish in.

KYLE

It's Tball Season

Kaden was pretty excited to say the least. It was a blast watching him and his buddies that are on the team with him. Of course Adam was proud of his oldest son playing the sport that he loves.

Here comes number three!

I guess it's safe to say that we are pregnant. Laurie is about 16 weeks along and is due on October 31. The boys are so excited to have a baby around. They keep fighting over what job they get to do for the baby. As of right now, Kaden is in charge of feeding the baby and Kyle gets to give the baby a bath. No one wanted the diapering duty, oh darn. We are anxious to find out what we are having, but we still have to wait another month. Kaden and Kyle are determined it's a girls and they refer to the baby as their little sister. Hopefully they are right. We will keep you updated with news.
